We are seeking our next fulltime Technical ProjectProposal Engineer.
This role is responsible for managing complex customerprojects from initial opportunity identification through final completion byproviding technical expertise, developing competitive pricing strategies, andensuring successful project execution. The position requires a strongunderstanding of process instrumentation and fluid dynamics concepts, includingpressure, flow, and resistance, to assist customers in selecting solutions thatmeet project requirements. Key responsibilities include preparing and followingup on quotations, conducting stakeholder analyses and risk assessments, leadingproject kick-off meetings, defining project scope and deliverables, andcollaborating with Project Business Development and Outside Sales teams todevelop pricing strategies that align with market conditions, competitivelandscapes, and project phases.
Essential Functions:
Assist customers with selection of products based on thescope of project needs through various applications, prepare quotations andfollow-up on status.
Comprehensive understanding of technical products that mayinclude but are not limited to concepts of pressure, flow, resistance, etc.
Own multiple projects from quotation through completion.
Identify and complete stakeholder analysis and riskassessment documentation.
Attend internal and customer project kick-off meetings.
Define clear scope of work and deliverables.
Create pricing strategies in partnership with ProjectBusiness Development and OSE teams based on market factors, competition, andproject phase.
Collaborate with GE Booth suppliers and partners to achieveoptimal project pricing.
Generate comprehensive project proposals outlining customerrequirements and objectives.
Manage and monitor project timelines, including RFQ anddecision dates, in alignment with customer expectations.
Review and align contract terms and conditions with GEBooth Legal or the E+H Legal Department.
Interpret and meet customer documentation and reportingrequirements, capturing associated costs.
Communicate ideas, strategies, and updates effectively tostakeholders and team members.
Manage order entry, scheduling, and delivery tracking inSAP/P21.
Adapt to changing project phases, priorities, andorganizational needs.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.

Work Environment:

Physical Demands:

Specific vision requirements include closeand distance vision, color perception, peripheral vision, depth perception, andthe ability to adjust focus.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required asbusiness demands arise.
Travel:
Limited travel is expected. Local travel to customer sitesor between company locations during business hours may be required. Overnighttravel is rare.
Required Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED.
Five to seven years of related project management ortechnical experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Attention to detail, organization skills and ability towork independently or with a team are a must for success in this role.
Strong communication skills whether written, verbal orotherwise required especially using moderately complex terminology andconcepts.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in technical field (electrical,engineering, etc.) or equivalent work experience in technical field support.
Seven to nine years of experience in a similar industry.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
Valid driver's license required.
