Job Description/Summary

Processes payment of all invoices necessary for agency operation and maintains records of same, and assists with accounting functions as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Data entry of invoices
  • Preparation of Purchase Journals
  • Ensure proper coding, recording, payment and compliance with PBH’s policy for purchasing and record keeping.
  • Check preparation, computerized and manual.
  • Handle vendor inquiries.
  • Coordinates and manages all purchases through contracted vendors
  • Complete requests for credit information.
  • Secure the safe.
  • Track of misc. receivable from specialized billing.
  • Investigates and makes recommendations for cost savings to CFO.

Competencies

  • Proficiently communicates - written and verbal
  • Able to multitask

Qualifications

  • Education - High School preferred Bachelors degree in accounting
  • Experience - Minimum of 5 years accounts payable
