Job Description
What you're responsible for:
  • Weighing and grading non-ferrous metals accurately using scale systems
  • Inspecting incoming materials and determining classification and value
  • Operating forklifts and directing the unloading of customer materials safely
  • Providing high-quality customer service and handling inquiries or concerns confidently
  • Organizing yard inventory, including bins and material flow
  • Preparing and closing daily operations, including cleanup and documentation
  • Communicating effectively with customers and team members, including resolving issues when needed

Qualifications
To join our team:
  • You have experience in non-ferrous metals, scrap yard operations, or material grading
  • You have experience with scale systems and/or forklift operation (preferred)
  • You are comfortable working outdoors in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
  • You demonstrate strong customer service skills, confidence, and the ability to handle challenging situations
  • You are reliable, organized, and eager to learn, with strong initiative and common sense
