Job description

The Non-Ferrous Laborer is responsible for handling, sorting, and processing non-ferrous metals (e.g., copper, aluminum, brass). This position ensures materials are properly categorized and prepared for resale or further processing. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and sort non-ferrous metals using visual inspection and handheld tools.
  • Operate balers, shears, and other machinery to process materials.
  • Processing and dismantling end-of-life vehicles including draining and removal of parts.  
  • Identify and remove any non-recyclable or hazardous material.
  • Maintain consistent pace and accuracy.
  • Assist with general labor tasks as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area.

Compensation details: 18-20 Hourly Wage
