Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (ICU RN)
Insight Hospital and Medical Center Chicago is seeking a compassionate and experienced Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced critical care environment. The ICU RN is responsible for assessing, monitoring, and treating patients with complex medical conditions while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.
Schedule: Full-time or Part-time, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM)
Responsibilities
• Assess, monitor, and provide care for critically ill patients.
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions.
• Operate and monitor critical care equipment, including ventilators and other life-support devices.
• Monitor patient status, recognize changes in condition, and respond to medical emergencies.
• Perform wound care, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families and support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
Qualifications
• Current Illinois RN license.
