Job description

We are seeking a certified Biller with coding experience for our small practice

We have approximately 150+ encounters per month that need to be worked; Reconciliation form programs merging

Combination/Hybrid concierge, regenerative medicine, workmen's comp, personal injury and insurance

This position has the opportunity to be hybrid, using Teams/Zoom and other methods of management

Prefer to have someone more local to work with as we would like to be able to meet in person at least one or two days per week.

Option for 1099 or W2

Options for commission and/or hourly combinations

Duties include but not limited to:

  1. Making sure that codes are assigned correctly and sequenced appropriately as per government and insurance regulations
  2. Complying with medical coding guidelines and policies
  3. Receiving and reviewing patients’ charts and documents for insurance verification, Eligibility, prior authorizations and accuracy
  4. Following up and clarifying any information that is not clear to other staff members
  5. Collecting information made by the Physician from different sources to prepare reports
  6. Credentialing
  7. Reconciliation and submission of old data from Charm EHR; and Current status of a Practice Fusion paired with BillrMD program.
  8. Maintaining the billing records and invoicing
  9. Creating reports
  10. Creating invoices
  11. Other duties as needed by the practice
