Montana Precision Products (MPP) is at the forefront of manufacturing excellence, specializing in producing complex and high-precision components for the aerospace and industrial sectors. At MPP, you'll be part of a team that uses state-of-the-art technology to create components that power some of the most recognizable aircraft in the world, including the Boeing 737 MAX, the Airbus A320neo, and other commercial aircraft.
Job Summary: Wax Assembler creates wax assemblies. Participates in training and cross training in production areas.
Responsibilities:
  • Works with small hydrogen torches, hot plates, brushes, hot was, irons and hand gauges
  • Follows written work instructions, tech cards, and photographs
  • Clocks in and out and vouchers on to jobs in ERP computer system
  • Learns methods used for polishing delicate wax patterns, patching and blending defects
  • Uses hand tools to patch, smooth and fills areas
  • Attaches patterns to sprues with correct orientation/spacing
  • Visually inspects patterns and assembled waxes for defects
  • Reviews router instructions and quantity for acceptance
  • Assembles wax patterns according to tech cards and work instructions
  • Updates and completes daily paperwork
  • Maintains tools and equipment
  • Meets manufacturing deadlines
  • Keeps work area clean and free from debris
  • Maintains regular work schedule
  • Follow these and additional instructions as assigned

Schedules:
  • Weekend Shift: 6am-6:30pm, Friday - Sunday (Includes 10% Shift Differential - Work 36 hours, get paid for 40!)

(All Initial Training will occur on Day Shift - 6am-4:30pm, Monday-Thursday.)
Work Environment:
  • May be exposed to noise, dust, fumes, airborne particles, smoke (Not over OSHA Permissible Exposure Levels).
  • Safety training and equipment are provided by MPP in accordance with applicable law, industry standards and company policy.
  • Occasionally lifts 25 - 45lbs.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to read/write/speak English
  • US Person Status
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
