Job description

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Learn all aspects of Ring Power sales methods and practices, to become a contributing member of a Division sales team.

The person in this position is assigned to a training program designed to educate prospective sales persons in the fundamental elements of Ring Power rentals and sales.  Requirements of this position are outlined below as competencies that must be demonstrated by way of written exam and/or by direct observation by the manager.  Trainees are encouraged to progress at their own pace provided required competencies are achieved.  

Demonstrate a good understanding of the Ring Power tradition, company values and business philosophy in accordance with the Employee Handbook Code of Ethics.  

Demonstrate a good working knowledge of all forms of communications as it relates to Ring Power rentals and sales. 

Demonstrate the ability to effectively use company computer systems and applicable software as it relates to rentals and sales activity.

Demonstrate the ability to effectively engage customers in written and verbal conversations to build and/or maintain positive business relationships.

Demonstrate an understanding of Ring Power organizational structure, sales territories, division responsibilities and product lines.

Demonstrate an understanding of what is required to properly complete a sale using established Company procedures and documents.

Demonstrate an understanding of applicable sales metrics, goals and objectives.  Additionally, demonstrate an understanding of the activities and practices being used to achieve rental/sales goals and objectives.

Demonstrate an understanding of sales administration: sales funnel, pinning / scoring, contract review, sales financing and collection.

Demonstrate familiarity with Ring Power parts, shop floor and field service operations.  Special emphasis is placed on familiarity with the interaction / impact between successful sales and these operations.

Demonstrate an understanding of the typical Ring Power sales forecasting methods and the potential impact on sales activity.

Demonstrate competency in all requirements of the applicable division specific training program.

Qualifications

Must possess excellent Microsoft Office suite computer user skills

Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills.

Must be willing to relocate within the state of Florida.

High School Diploma or related equivalent required.

Bachelor's Degree from a four year college or university or related equivalent experience preferred.
