Member Experience Analyst

MJK Connections is partnering with a client whose business revolves around supporting credit union clients.

The primary responsibilities of the Member Experience Analyst are to assist the clients with a variety of projects, involving analysis and reporting of data. A desired element within this role would be past experience using data to tell a meaningful story that can be used to drive business decisions. Additionally, the candidate will need to be able to respond to requests in a timely manner, as well as communicate clearly and effectively.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Handling analysis of data, both large and small scale, transforming the data into meaningful information using data visualization techniques with intent to drive action and business decision making.
  • Work on high-impact strategic analytics projects to provide data-based insights and recommendations.
  • Identify and extract data from sources to use in reporting, analysis and project development.
  • Build and maintain recurring metrics, reports, and dashboards.
  • Present findings to internal team members and/or clients.
  • Creation of supplementary reports/analysis for programs offered by Member Loyalty Group.
  • Create, prepare, and distribute Internal Service Survey, Relationship, Engagement reports.
  • Assist team in creating internal process efficiencies to help with both internal and external reporting.
  • Support manager(s) in product/service benchmarks, executive KPIs, and new project initiatives.
  • Assist in additional client and/or program support activities as assigned.
Education, Training & Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative or business-related field such as Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Engineering.
  • Experience with large volumes of unstructured & structured data
  • Experience building PowerPoint decks to convey analytical results and make business recommendations
  • Ability to put structure around ambiguous business problems, designing analytical approaches based on available data
  • Ability to translate analysis results into actionable business recommendations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be a team player.
  • Must be able to handle working on multiple projects at once.
  • Must have the ability to troubleshoot issues, and solve problems independently.
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized and able to handle multiple tasks.
  • Able to work independently with minimal guidance.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to independently learn new technology.
  • Expert level with Excel, including experience with pivot tables
  • Experience with data visualization tools (such as Tableau) a plus
  • Experience with data blending tools (such as Alteryx) a plus
  • Experience as a self-starter and working with varying degrees of direction
  • Must have professional demeanor, positive attitude, patience, flexibility and a desire to provide exceptional service to internal and external partners.
