Project Overview
The IBM Maximo Mobile Project seeks a highly organized and self-motivated Analyst to provide crucial support for end users, troubleshooting issues, and assist in the development and modification of inspection forms related to Plant operations (Generation/Transmission/Substation Operator Rounds, Security Inspections etc) . This role ensures that Maximo Mobile Program activities are executed smoothly, and governance standards are adhered to consistently. The ideal candidate is detail-driven, capable of learning quickly, and comfortable supporting a fast-paced, technically complex program.
Job Functions & Responsibilities
  • Train mobile end users on the use of IBM Maximo Mobile and Spatial.
  • Develop, revise and modify Maximo Inspection forms related to Plant operations (Generation/Transmission/Substation Operator Rounds, Security Inspections etc.) as assigned by the Maximo Inspection Form Review team
  • Understand Plant operations to develop/suggest the inspection activities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by users in the field, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Assist in the review and development of new inspection forms or modifications to existing forms.
  • Support meeting preparation, agenda creation, note-taking, and distribution of follow-up items.
  • Prepare, edit, and format polished documents and presentations across multiple formats (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, PDF, SharePoint).
  • Develop and maintain high-quality governance artifacts such as SOPs, matrices, workflows, compliance logs, templates, and checklists.
  • Track program tasks, deadlines, and dependencies;maintain action logs, calendars, and project dashboards.
  • Follow up with internal and external stakeholders to ensure on-time completion of assigned actions.
  • Review all documents for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and alignment with governance requirements.
  • Draft clear and professional communications, summaries, and reports for leadership and project teams.
  • Maintain a proactive, detail-oriented, and structured approach to all responsibilities.

Skills
  • Strong knowledge of the following IBM Maximo modules/application products: Maximo Mobile, Spatial, Managing Inspections, and Maximo Application Suite (MAS).
  • Experience training end users on mobile applications and troubleshooting field issues.
  • Understand Electric Utility Plant operations including Fossil, Hydro, Transmission to develop/suggest the inspection activities
  • Ability to understand and follow structured templates and governance requirements with precision.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new processes, systems, and standards quickly.
  • Excellent organizational skills and time management.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple concurrent tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to respectfully hold others accountable.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Education & Certifications
  • Experience supporting technical, engineering, operational, or compliance-driven programs.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and document control systems.
  • Experience in utilities and transmission.
  • Experience with mobile applications and Maximo is highly desirable.
