Mechanical Shop Technician - North Fort Worth, TX
An established company in North Fort Worth is hiring Mechanical Shop Technicians to join their team. This is a hands-on position working on large industrial gearboxes, similar to transmission or engine rebuild work. Ideal for candidates with automotive, diesel, or mechanical repair experience looking for steady hours and a long-term opportunity.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Pay: $19-$21/hr (based on experience; most candidates start between $19-$20)
Job Duties:
  • Disassemble, clean, and rebuild gearboxes and mechanical components
  • Inspect parts for wear or damage and document findings
  • Replace components and reassemble units to spec
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments
  • Read and follow repair procedures and basic drawings
