Job description

Operations Team Lead

As an Operations Team Lead, you’ll be a Primo Brands Ambassador in the marketplace, leaving a positive impression at every customer interaction to foster customer advocacy and create long‑term sustainable growth. This role delivers our products to commercial and residential customers via a CDL‑required vehicle. You will cover open routes each day to support the branch or zone and provide supervision of branch associates.

Reporting Location: Roanoke, VA

Compensation: $73,000 annually

Schedule: Monday – Friday (Saturdays dependent on business needs)

Start Time: Between 6 am – 7 am until workload completed

Travel: This role requires travel to other branches in the region for support as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Managing and overseeing all branch operations and ensuring efficient day‑to‑day operation.
  • Improve productivity and streamline branch activities to maximize results and achieve peak performance.
  • Execute facility management and safety activities.
  • Make every associate/customer interaction a premium experience.
  • Support the team with decisions, problem‑solve and manage conflict; provide coaching/feedback, train new hires, and coach upselling techniques.
  • Operate vehicles safely and responsibly; complete DOT documentation daily; follow safe work practices and take ownership of personal safety.
  • Deliver correct products on time, maintain delivery information, fulfill customer orders, and respond promptly to special service needs.
Qualifications
  • CDL Class B with airbrake endorsement.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
  • Service‑oriented with strong face‑to‑face sales skills.
  • Ability to work independently, efficiently, and in varying weather.
  • Effective customer interaction in a variety of settings.
  • Lift and carry an average of 250+ units per day, each weighing up to 45 lb.
  • Climb in and out of a commercial vehicle on average 40–55 times per day.
  • Work an average 45‑hour week or more, including variable start/end times.
  • Alternate sitting, standing, pushing, pulling, and walking all day.
  • Obtain DOT medical card, maintain a clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older (DOT requirement).
  • Strong English language skills for customer communication.
