Information Technology (IT) Specialist โ€“ Red Lodge, Montana

Beartooth Electric Cooperative is seeking a hands-on IT Specialist to support the cooperative's technology systems serving south-central Montana and northern Wyoming.

Responsibilities include support of desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, networking, NISC Enterprise Software, Aclara AMI systems, GIS mapping, cybersecurity, troubleshooting, vendor coordination, and day-to-day IT operations.

Qualified applicants should have an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience, along with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Applicants should have experience supporting Windows environments, networking fundamentals, hardware and software troubleshooting, and day-to-day user support in a professional environment.

Preferred experience includes NISC Enterprise Software, Aclara AMI systems, electric utility technologies such as AMI, GIS, or SCADA systems, cybersecurity best practices, vendor coordination, and Microsoft 365 or related system administration experience.
