Night Merchandiser needed for our drink distribution company.

Full Time Shift begins 5pm, some weekends required

Job Summary: The Merchandiser will build, merchandise, and maintain all shelf sections and displays to conform to company standards.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Lives and models BROWN VALUES in everything we do.
  • Requires the use of personal vehicle to travel to different customer locations.
  • Requires the use of personal cell phone to clock in/out and track mileage.
  • Personal miles are tracked and submitted weekly for re-imbursement through our payroll service app.
  • Taking appropriate action to maximize sales and profit and reduce stockholding whilst increasing stock turn.
  • Monitor and manage the availability of stock on the floor and in the stockroom.
  • Build, merchandise, and maintain all shelf sections and displays to conform to company standards and authorized promotions.
  • Secure the best possible selling position for our products in each account consistent with the corporate standards.
  • Create, develop, and maintain goodwill in every account.
  • Honor all business and personal commitments to your customers.
  • Call in all customer requests for additional product or service.
  • Recommend sufficient product inventory to eliminate out-of-stock situations. 

Physical Demands:

  • Able to lift up to 30 lbs. continuously and 60 lbs. intermittently
  • Able to push and pull a pallet of soft drinks with a pallet jack weighing up to 260 pounds
  • Must be able to bend, stoop and climb on a frequent basis.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.

Work Environment:

  • Work in market in grocery stores, convenience stores, and dollar stores including inside walk-in coolers
  • Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Obtain and keep liability auto insurance on personal vehicle.
  • Ability to read planograms and instructions.
