Your Impact
As a Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining safe, reliable, and efficient operations. Your expertise will directly support equipment performance, minimize downtime, and help Newmont deliver sustainable production.
As part of our team, you will

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment and systems
• Conduct inspections to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance standards are metIdentify and resolve mechanical, electrical, or operational issues
• Support continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve production targets
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and follow established procedures

Prerequisites for your success in this role

• Relevant technical certification, trade qualification, or equivalent experience
• Hands-on experience in maintenance, repair, or operations in an industrial setting
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
• Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Basic knowledge of maintenance systems and tools

Your work environment
You will work in an operational site environment where safety is the top priority. This role may involve shift work, outdoor conditions, and collaboration with diverse teams to support continuous operations.
Location: Elko, Nevada

The salary range offered for this role is USD $66,900- 83,640. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate's salary history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.
This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company's performance and their own individual performance. This role also will be eligible for participation in a discretionary long-term incentive program, pursuant to which an employee may receive awards based on their level and individual performance. (remove if not a Level 3 or above)
