Job description

The Specialist, Network Operations advances Fortify Children's Health (Fortify)'s vision of being the provider network of choice by managing and improving the processes, systems and resources that ensure Fortify operates efficiently and effectively. This role is responsible for managing vendor relationships, ensuring strong internal communication between departments and facilitating annual program planning for the organization. The Specialist, Network Operations plays a critical role in ensuring Fortify maintains the structure, policies and procedures necessary to operate a clinically integrated network (CIN). The Specialist, Network Operations will also provide project management support to the team in alignment with the Network's strategic plan. Reports to the Director, Population Health Network Integration.
Fortify Children's Health is a pediatric CIN, co-founded by UVA Health Children's and Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters to advance optimal health and well-being for every child.
  • Acts as the human resources representative within Fortify for staff onboarding/offboarding, performance reviews and personnel record management
  • Monitors the support inbox for the Network and directs requests as appropriate
  • Oversees maintenance and storage of Fortify policies and procedures
  • Contract Management
  • Serves as an account administrator and staff point of contact for Fortify's IT vendor contract
  • Facilitates insurance policy renewals for the organization
  • Manages vendor contracts for the organization
  • Oversees the request for proposal process for new projects
  • Internal Communications
  • Maintains Fortify branding guidelines and templates
  • Develops and shares internal messaging and resources in support of Fortify's internal communication strategy
  • Acts as Fortify's lead for knowledge management by ensuring all team documents, the Fortify intranet, presentations and webpages are up to date
  • Project Management
  • Facilitates the successful planning, build, implementation, and evaluation of projects identified in Fortify's strategic plan
  • Oversees annual program planning for Fortify departments
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor's Degree or combination of education and related experience in lieu of a degree required.
Experience: 4+ years of relevant experience required.
Licensure: None.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
The starting base rate for this role is $54,576.00 annually. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
