Network Admin

Holtec Location: Camden, NJ (onsite 4 day a week) Duration 6-18 months

We are seeking a highly experienced Network Administrator to support and maintain a complex, multi-site network environment servicing over 20,000 users. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of LAN, WAN, and wireless technologies, with extensive hands-on experience in enterprise network hardware, firewalls, and routing protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, configure, and support LAN, WAN, and wireless (RF) infrastructure.
  • Deploy and maintain network hardware/software, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Administer and troubleshoot Cisco, Aruba, and Juniper devices.
  • Develop and maintain detailed network documentation and diagrams.
  • Manage and coordinate with telecom vendors for connectivity and service delivery.
  • Monitor network health using tools like SolarWinds and PRTG.
  • Implement and optimize routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF) and QoS for voice, video, and data traffic.
  • Architect and support enterprise firewalls (Cisco Firepower, Check Point, Palo Alto).
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to support enterprise platforms (e.g., storage, databases, Linux, Windows Server).
  • Utilize office productivity tools (Excel, Word, etc.) for documentation and reporting.
Required Qualifications:
  • 7–10 years of experience managing complex campus and data center networks.
  • 5+ years in a senior network role with enterprise firewall architecture and support.
  • Professional certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of routing, switching, and network security.
  • Experience with enterprise-grade network monitoring and management tools.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with SD-WAN or network segmentation.
  • Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure).
  • Scripting or automation experience for network configuration tasks.
