A team player capable of performing routine building maintenance tasks. Someone who takes initiative to get the job done and demonstrates a willingness to learn. The ideal candidate is a collaborator who acts with integrity and enjoys working in a constantly evolving environment.

About the role:
This position will follow a daily route and schedule throughout the Portland Metro area. Primary responsibilities include general grounds keeping and maintenance, including mowing, trimming, blowing, edging, planting, power washing, and other related outdoor maintenance tasks.

Location: 403 SE 162nd Ave, Portland, OR 97233.
Reports to: Director and Manager of Facilities.
Salary Range: Hourly $22 - $30 based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mowing.
  • Trimming.
  • Plant care.
  • Debris removal.
  • Parking lot maintenance.
  • Window washing / Power washing.
  • Irrigation repair (experience with that is a plus, but not required).
  • Maintains company standards for cleanliness, safety, and productivity.
  • Drive company vehicles as needed to pick up parts and supplies.

Compensation and Benefits:
  • The compensation for this role will range between $25 -30 per hour, depending on experience.
  • The position will be 40 hours/per week, with the potential for overtime depending on the needs of the company.
  • Company vehicle and tools provided.

Qualifications:
  • Must pass a company driver’s license check.
  • Valid US driver's license with a clean driving record with the ability to drive company-insured vehicles.
  • Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.
  • Must be willing and able to work outdoors and on your feet for extended periods.
  • Possess a Mechanical aptitude, willing to accept direction, and be able to learn new skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and work without supervision required.
  • Qualifications-past landscaping experience.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Willing to adapt to current conditions.
  • Willing to take charge and be self-reliant.
  • Irrigation experience a plus.
  • Equipment operator a plus.
  • Carpentry experience a plus.
  • Proficient in basic computer applications and software such as MS Office, E-Mail, etc.
