Job description

Rinvio is hiring a Mission Critical Project Manager / Construction Manager for MEP-heavy data center and critical infrastructure construction work in the Abilene, Texas area.


Pay: $210,000-$250,000/year, based on experience

Location: Abilene, TX

Schedule: Full-time mission-critical construction role; schedule based on project needs

Type: Contract


Responsibilities:

- Manage execution of mission-critical MEP scopes including power, cooling, and low-voltage systems

- Oversee budgets, schedules, subcontractor performance, and field execution on fast-track builds

- Coordinate with engineering, commissioning, field leadership, vendors, and project stakeholders

- Drive milestones tied to energization, integrated systems testing, commissioning, and final turnover

- Support project documentation, issue resolution, change management, and schedule recovery planning

- Ensure work aligns with NFPA, NEC, project specifications, quality expectations, and safety standards


Requirements:

- Mission-critical, data center, commercial MEP, electrical, mechanical, or critical infrastructure construction experience

- Project management or construction management experience on complex technical builds

- Strong understanding of MEP coordination, subcontractor management, schedules, budgets, and commissioning milestones

- Ability to coordinate across field, engineering, commissioning, and stakeholder teams

- Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA, safety standards, and project specifications

- Ability to work in Abilene-area project environments and complete any onboarding requirements
