Position Summary: Aluma Form Inc. is seeking an experienced and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead and oversee the sales activities within a specific geographic region. As a critical member of our manufacturing company specializing in power transfer equipment for utilities, the Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, managing a sales team, and achieving revenue targets within the assigned region. 

Responsibilities: 

  1. Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies and plans to achieve revenue and market share growth within the region. 
  2. Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage the performance of the regional sales team, providing guidance and support to ensure sales goals are met. 
  3. Customer Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key customers and prospects, addressing their needs, and ensuring customer satisfaction. 
  4. Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for growth. 
  5. Sales Target Achievement: Set and monitor sales targets, ensuring the team meets or exceeds sales goals. 
  6. Sales Reporting: Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to the executive team. 
  7. Product Knowledge: Gain in-depth knowledge of the company's products and services, enabling effective communication with customers. 
  8. Budget Management: Develop and manage the regional sales budget, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effective solutions. 
  9. Travel: Travel within the region to meet with clients, attend industry events, and manage the sales team. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). 
  • Proven experience in sales and sales management, with at least 5-7 years in a leadership position.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Knowledge of the utilities industry and power transfer equipment is a plus. 
  • Effective negotiation and problem-solving abilities. 
  • Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) software. 
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region.
