JOB SUMMARY:
The Utah Jazz are looking for a creative storyteller to join our digital content team as a Video Producer Intern for the upcoming 2026-27 NBA season. This position's primary focus will be creating a wide variety of short-form video content to bring our brand to life across all social media pages, and will assist the content producers and social media managers with other projects and tasks. The right person for this position must be skilled in both video production and post-production, have an aptitude for social media trends, and have a general knowledge of basketball and/or the NBA. This person must also be adaptable, detail-oriented, and must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This position will allow you to combine a passion for sports with content creation, and give you the opportunity to create engaging content for an NBA team. This is a part-time position based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Expected to work 30 hours per week, starting in September 2026 through the end of the NBA Season.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Conceptualize and create engaging content for Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, and other platforms.
  • On game nights, assist content producers and social media managers in turning around content quickly for real-time posting.
  • Maintain the established brand standards and help implement the current social media strategy.
  • Help provide video coverage for team shoots, behind the scenes, and other company-led events.
  • Protect the reputation of the company

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to collaborate closely with the social media and creative teams to execute ideas from pre- to post-production.
  • Effectively communicate new ideas and perspectives for content creation.
  • Strong creative mindset, awareness of current social media trends, and a drive to create impactful and engaging content.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to take an idea from "concept" to "publish" within the production process.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro with both long-form and short-form video editing experience.
  • Experience with other Adobe Creative Suite programs preferred.
  • Basic color correction and grading experience preferred.
  • Basic audio balancing and adjustments.
  • Familiarity with Sony cameras and their settings, and other general production equipment.
  • Must have access to reliable transportation in the event of off-site coverage.
  • Strong creative mindset, awareness of current social media trends, and a drive to create impactful content.
  • Strong knowledge of basketball and the NBA preferred.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of professional experience in video production or sports content creation perferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once and meet deadlines.
  • Accepts feedback well with a willingness to learn and grow.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • This person must be able to communicate and express themselves both written and verbally.
  • This person must be able to observe, inspect, estimate and assess.
  • This person must be able to sit, stand, bend, walk, and climb stairs for long periods of time.
  • This person must be able to lift 30 lbs.
