Job description

This is a part-time position that will begin in October and run through the 2026-2027 NBA G League season. Stats Crew members are required to work all 24 Greensboro Swarm home games as well as other team functions that may occur during the season (preseason exhibition, postseason, etc.). Duties at games may vary and rotate based on staffing, with responsibilities ranging from inputting, calling, backup or official scorer. The NBA G League utilizes the NBA Global Statistical System, which includes mandatory training prior to the season. Hornets Values

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Complete mandatory NBA Global Statistical System training
  • Responsible for setting up and managing the NBA Global Statistical System's cabling and equipment for all home games (including afternoons, evenings and weekends)
  • Game night duties may include inputting (primary, secondary, tertiary), calling, back up and managing official scorebook.
  • Distribute statistics during games to teams, press and courtside seats.
  • Supporting role for members of the press, including credentialing and media room management
  • Other duties, as assigned by the Greensboro Swarm Communications department.
Required Skills, Experience and Abilities To perform the job successfully, you should demonstrate the following competencies:
  • Working knowledge of NBA and NBA G League rules and regulations preferred, collegiate experience helpful
  • Familiarity with roles of in-game statistic inputting, calling and official scorer
  • Ability to work with others in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail
  • Adjust and adapt quickly in high stress situations
  • Presents self in professional manner and have ability to interact with all levels of organization and outside contacts and maintain the highest level of confidentiality
  • Ability to take direction and constructive feedback
  • Flexible hours and availability to work all home games
  • Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time.
