Job description

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the SPECIAL ASSISTANT FOR RESOURCE MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT of the NAVAL INFORMATION FORCES.Qualifications:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-13) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
  • Experience and expert knowledge in DoW's Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution process.
  • Experience and expert Knowledge in Appropriations Law. How the Purpose, Time, and Amount Statutes apply to Department of the Navy Appropriations.
  • Experience and possess technical expertise in Navy ERP, The system of record for Navy financial operations.
  • Experience releasing funding, tracking commitments, and monitoring actual execution.
  • Experience managing budgets for commands and/or programs of record and holding commands and/or programs accountable to execution plans.
  • Experience working and integrating into a high performing team while leading team efforts.
