Job description

Senior Scheduler
MagTech is seeking an experienced Senior Scheduler to support complex Department of Defense (DoD) programs. This position will serve as a lead scheduler responsible for developing and managing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), supporting Earned Value Management (EVM) requirements, and providing guidance to other scheduling professionals.
Location: Auburn Hills, MI
Salary: $100,000 - $130,000
Schedule: 9/80 Work Schedule (Every Other Friday Off)
Type: Direct Hire
Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and manage Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for DoD programs.
  • Support resource-loaded schedules and Earned Value Management (EVM) requirements.
  • Perform Critical Path and Schedule Risk Analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with DoD scheduling standards and requirements.
  • Support Program Management and Finance teams with reporting and program performance tracking.
  • Provide training and guidance to Cost Account Managers (CAMs) and other schedulers.
  • Communicate schedule status, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
  • 10+ years of professional experience.
  • 5+ years of DoD program scheduling experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Integrated Master Scheduling (IMS) and Earned Value Management (EVM).
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, Deltek Open Plan, and/or Primavera P6.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Preferred
  • PMP and/or PMI-SP certification.
  • Master's Degree.
  • Experience with defense contractors such as General Dynamics, BAE Systems, Oshkosh Defense, Navistar Defense, or similar organizations.
Additional Information
  • Up to 10% travel required.
