Job Description
As a Principal Technical Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in helping our clients implement and optimize their Infor CloudSuite solutions. You will leverage your deep technical expertise in Infor CloudSuite to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our clients' business objectives. You will work closely with clients, project managers, and other team members to design, configure, and implement Infor CloudSuite applications, ensuring a seamless and efficient deployment.
  • Project Execution and Delivery Excellence:
    • Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and design customized Infor CloudSuite solutions that align with their goals
    • Lead the technical configuration and implementation of Infor CloudSuite applications
    • Manage data migration efforts, ensuring the accurate and secure transfer of data from legacy systems to Infor CloudSuite
    • Work on integrating Infor CloudSuite with other systems, both within the Infor ecosystem and with external applications
    • Create comprehensive technical documentation, including solution designs, configurations, and user guides
    • Conduct training sessions for client teams to ensure they can effectively use and maintain their Infor CloudSuite solutions
    • Proactively identify and resolve technical issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams and Infor support when necessary
  • Learning and Professional Development:
    • Keep up to date on the latest developments in Infor CloudSuite and related technologies to provide clients with innovative solutions
    • Have opportunities to mentor, lead, and train Technical Analysts
    • Maintain Infor technical certifications
  • Cross Training and Knowledge Sharing:
    • Serve as the subject matter expert on Infor CloudSuite, providing guidance and best practices to clients and internal teams.
    • Create comprehensive technical documentation, including solution designs, configurations, and user guides.
  • Research and Innovation:
    • Continuous Improvement: Works collaboratively with the Practice Manager, PMO and Senior Leadership to improve project delivery and processes
    • Provide thought leadership in the Infor Lawson space including delivery of presentations and creation of relevant content
  • Company Contribution and UTE Maximization:
    • Commit to becoming Infor Certified, demonstrating dedication to expertise and excellence in Infor technology
    • Contribute to one or more webinars annually, including leading webinar organization and developing roadshows based on market and product knowledge
    • Manage multiple projects and actively seek to maximize Utilization Rate (UTE), maintaining UTE at or above 88%

Qualifications
Senior Technical Consultant
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Infor CloudSuite certification(s) highly desired
  • 7+ years' experience as a technical consultant with a focus on Infor CloudSuite solutions
  • Strong knowledge of Infor CloudSuite applications, including installation, configuration, and customization
  • Experience with data migration, integration, and performance tuning
  • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., SQL, Java) and scripting languages
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and team members
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to new challenges
  • Project management experience is a plus
  • Willingness to travel, as client requirements dictate

  • Minimum 10 years of experience as an Infor Consultant
  • Functional area assessment high score and positive referrals

Additional Information
Location: Position is nationwide and requires minimal travel nationwide as well as the discipline to work from home as needed.
Salary: Pay commensurate with experience.
