Mailroom/ Dock Associate Onsite- Lisle, IL
Pay: NA
Typical hours are 7:30am- 4pm M-Friday
+++++80% of the time this person will be running the mailroom - the loading/unloading trucks is a small portion of the overall job.
The manager is NOT looking for somebody who has alot of experience driving a forklift , pallet jack , dealing with large heavy skids etc.. This could be a temp-hire position if the candidate does well and if Navistar has the budget ****Looking for someone with positive attitude, team player and definitely person who is willing to learn and willing to help other employees. Self-starter person with good decision-making skills along with good organizing/housekeeping skills . If there is someone with the mailroom/ shipping receiving background would be great but it's not necessary- Navistar will provide all the training as long as the person is willing to learn. Must be familiar with Client Office specifically Excel, Word and Outlook email Job Musts: • Must be familiar with Client Office specifically Excel, Word and Outlook email • Ability to lift 50 lbs. • Must be flexible, dependable & reliable • Must know how to prioritize daily assignments and be organized • Must have "good" customer service skills • Must be a team player with a positive attitude • Must have valid driver's license and auto liability insurance Job Summary: • Sort and deliver incoming mail and process outgoing mail • Responsible for processing incoming and outgoing FedEx/UPS packages • Monitor facility receiving dock and keep it clean on a daily basis. • Responsible for delivering and picking up mail on assigned buildings/floors • Responsible for delivering incoming and picking up outgoing FedEx/UPS packages to assigned building/floors or package room • Replenish copy paper and supplies in all floor copy/mail rooms • Comply with facility mailroom and dock safety • Occasional use of forklift and pallet jack (Training is provided) • Steel toe shoes required in dock area Other: • Answer incoming emails • Answers mailroom customer service phone line • Monitors employee onboarding and offboarding for mail folders, nameplates, workstation moves • Takes mailroom related requests from facilities work tickets • Monitors confidential shred bin removal schedules Must be a self-starter and have a good decision-making skill
