Job description

Peer Recovery Specialist - Navigate
The purpose of this position is to help adults and adolescents that are diagnosed with Schizophrenia and related disorders to achieve and maintain recovery in the Navigate Program at Highlands Community Services (HCS).
Position Specifics:
Location: Abingdon, VA
Status: Part-time (20 -29 hours), Non-exempt, Tuesday & Thursday 8:30am - 5:00pm & Wednesday 8:30am - 12:00pm. Schedule flexibility available.
Compensation: $16.00 - $17.50 - Commensurate with education/experience
Education: High School Diploma/GED; Peer Recovery Specialist Certification required but can be completed after hire.
Experience: Lived experience and a minimum of one (1) year of recovery from a mental health condition. To be considered, you must provide an explanation of how your lived experience qualifies you for this role.
