Overview
Responsible for leading business development and public relations activities that support market growth, strengthen community presence, and enhance the Company's reputation. Builds and maintains relationships with customers, prospects, centers of influence, and internal business partners to identify referral opportunities and expand market penetration.
Responsibilities
  • Market Growth and Business Development-Expand the Company's market presence by identifying, cultivating, and pursuing new business opportunities with current and prospective customers.
  • Community Presence and Brand Reputation-Represent the Company through active community involvement that strengthens public relations, promotes a positive image, and supports local market visibility.
  • Referral Network Development-Build and maintain productive relationships with centers of influence, customers, prospects, and internal business partners to generate referrals and growth opportunities.
  • Branch Sales and Marketing Support-Support branch marketing initiatives and sales objectives by promoting Company services and coordinating business development activities aligned with market needs.

Qualifications

  • Specialized banking education and training required.
  • Thorough knowledge of key issues facing the banking industry, including market trends, customer needs, and competitive considerations.
  • Demonstrated management and supervisory skills, including the ability to support staffing, training, customer service, and sales objectives.
  • Proficient knowledge of business development activities and the assigned market.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, relationship-building, and sales skills.
  • Knowledge of bank operating policies and procedures for deposit and lending products.
  • Position will require active Nationwide Multistate Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration, or the ability to secure registration upon hire, and is contingent upon successful completion of a credit report review as part of the process.
