Arthrex is a global medical device company and a leader in new product development and medical education in orthopedics. The main objective of this role is to assist the Manager - National Accounts and Business Optimization in providing analytical support to the Sr Director Sales Intelligence, National Accounts Team, Regional Directors, Agency Leadership, and VP of North American Sales. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Manager - National Accounts and Business Optimization with developing and producing monthly analysis, reports, and tools that are distributed to Arthrex sales management teams and agency leadership.
  • Produce and maintain strategic customer models through research, source lists, and interaction with field sales management. Maintain a thorough understanding and knowledge of the customer landscape. Advise sales leadership of opportunities and threats in the marketplace by analyzing Arthrex business within these strategic customers.
  • Produce ad hoc analysis for national accounts team and other US sales managers. Examples of requests include GPO, IDN, and key account/contract analysis of trends, opportunities, and pricing exposure that influence key business decisions.
  • Produce and maintain templates and monthly reports used by Arthrex sales management and agency sales leadership in Sharefile and Cognos.
  • Monthly creation of various national accounts price lists used by national accounts team and agency leadership to convey pricing to customers and customer service.
  • Assist the national accounts team, customer service, and the sales force in any price change implementations.
  • Work with customer service and field leadership to correct any pricing discrepancies with customer accounts.
  • Serve as national accounts expert in Cognos, TM1, and Power BI sales evaluation software. Provide updates and training to national accounts team members and field sales managers to fully utilize the capability of Cognos in their analyses and account evaluations.
  • Work with Commercial Contracts Team and Customer Service to ensure accurate contract information in AXIS Contract Lifecycle Tracker (CLT).
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of Arthrex's products and procedures, basic anatomy, and Arthrex's business model.
  • Maintain internal trackers and databases as sources for reporting and analysis.
  • Utilizes Cognos, SAP, TM1, Power BI, and Microsoft Office to perform daily activities

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required; advanced degree or CPA eligibility preferred
  • Experience in financial analysis or accounting preferred
  • Experience in a national accounts or contracting environment preferred

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Excel.
  • Salesforce, Cognos, TM1, and Power BI experience is strongly preferred.
  • Highly organized, dependable, detail oriented.

Machine, Tools and/or Equipment Skills:
Working knowledge of PCs, databases and general office equipment.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to comprehend and apply mathematical principles to the degree required to perform the job based upon job requirements.
Language and Communication Skills:
Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above. Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management. Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.
