West Michigan's largest private music lesson school is now hiring a full-time front desk team member (38-40 hrs/week) to work at our Grand Rapids location and occasionally at our Jenison location. This Student Service Coordinator will perform a variety of tasks under the supervision of the school Student Experience Manager and Operations Manager.

$18-20 per hour with raises based on performance evaluations, 80 hours of PTO (paid time off) annually, bonuses and profit sharing program.

Must be willing to work as needed at both locations, nights and weekends required.

Knowledge of music and/or playing an instrument is not required.

RECEPTIONIST/FRONT DESK TEAM MEMBER SCHEDULE: 40 hours

The current available work schedule includes a Sunday noon-5 and Monday-Thursday 1-9 shifts. Great position for someone who has a lot of flexibility, doesn’t mind evening and weekend work, and is looking for a high paying position.

RECEPTIONIST/FRONT DESK JOB DUTIES:

Answering phones (Looking for the GOLDEN VOICE, one that sounds amazing on the phone with a great tone and excitement for our customers.)

Managing details (Requires a great memory.)

An ability to sell yourself as well as selling our services as the best music lesson experience in West Michigan. (Looking for a people person.)

Note: If you do not like sales, please do not apply. Selling our school on the phone to potential clients is part of this position.

Processing paperwork

Cleaning

Communicating with teachers, staff and clients.

Daily interaction with kids and their parents.

Providing over-the-top customer service to everyone who walks through the Academy doors, making them feel welcomed, heard, and appreciated.

Scheduling needs for 800 students and more than 40 teachers. High attention to detail and strong communication skills are necessary. (Experience with Google products is preferred)

Ability to follow directions, multi-task, meet deadlines, and achieve monthly registration goals.

Independent problem solving

Keeping the overall appearance and look of the Academy consistent with the image and culture of the Academy.
