Our publishing team works closely with writers, artists, labels, and the broader creative community to develop careers, create opportunities for collaboration, and connect music with audiences across media and culture.


Position Summary:

The East Coast Publishing Manager will play a key role in supporting the development of Beggars Music's publishing roster across the United States. Based in New York, this role will focus on writer development, creative pitching, sync opportunities, and industry relationship building, while serving as a key connection point between Beggars Music, our labels, and the wider US creative community.

The ideal candidate is deeply engaged in music discovery and culture, has strong relationships across the music and creative industries, and is excited to help identify and develop opportunities for our roster.


Key Responsibilities:

Writer Development & Creative Opportunities

  • Identify and develop creative opportunities for Beggars Music writers, including collaborations with producers, artists, and songwriters.
  • Organize and facilitate writing sessions and collaborations for our US-based writers and international writers visiting the US.
  • Assist with research planning of writing camps and retreats.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for select writers on the roster, supporting their development and identifying new opportunities.

Sync & Creative Pitching

  • Respond to incoming sync briefs and proactively pitch appropriate music from the Beggars Music roster.
  • Meet regularly with music supervisors to maintain relationships and ensure our catalog is well represented in sync opportunities.
  • Host and invite music supervisors and sync contacts to Beggars-related shows, events and showcases.

Music Discovery & A&R Support

  • Research and identify emerging writers, producers, and artists, particularly within the US market, for potential Beggars Music signings or collaborations.
  • Maintain close communication with Beggars label A&R teams, particularly those based in New York, to stay informed about new artist signings and creative priorities.
  • Provide regular internal updates on album campaigns, tour activity, and general news related to Beggars Music writers and affiliated artists.

Industry Relationships

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with publishers, managers, labels, producers, and other key industry partners across the US.
  • Build and maintain relationships with music supervisors and sync agencies, positioning Beggars Music writers for placement opportunities.
  • Attend and represent Beggars Music at industry conferences, networking events, and showcases across the US and North America.

Artist & Cultural Engagement

  • Explore opportunities for our writers and the Beggars Music brand within the broader cultural landscape, including collaborations across film, television, art, fashion, technology, and dance communities.
  • Attend concerts, industry showcases, and cultural events in New York and beyond.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong knowledge of the US music industry, particularly within publishing, A&R, or creative development.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships across the music and creative industries.
  • Deep interest in sync, music discovery and emerging artists.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and creative opportunities simultaneously.
  • Based inNew York City and comfortable attending industry events and shows regularly.
