The Manager, Fan Engagement is responsible for supporting the execution of fan engagement strategies across Epic Records' artist roster by managing day-to-day digital and audience facing platforms. This role focuses on driving fan acquisition, engagement, and retention through social media, CRM, and other fan facing digital properties, while partnering closely with the Marketing team to deliver cohesive digital campaigns.

This position requires a considerable understanding of fandoms and digital culture, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of social media, web properties, and email/SMS channels for a designated roster of artists, supporting fan acquisition and engagement efforts
  • Execute digital and social media strategies across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, Snapchat, websites, microsites, pre-save pages, and fan accounts
  • Create and publish copy and content designed to increase engagement and reach through audience interaction and algorithms
  • Support growth and engagement initiatives for both established and developing artists, helping to foster active and loyal fan communities
  • Partner with Marketing and Artist teams to help build and maintain editorial calendars across digital platforms
  • Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance across platforms, using insights to inform future efforts
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure digital execution aligns with broader marketing and artist priorities
 
Who you are:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 4+ years of professional experience in digital and/or social media marketing
  • Experience at a record label, entertainment company, or social media agency preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills
  • Passion for fan-focused digital strategies and online community building
  • Hands-on experience executing digital strategies, including daily management of social platforms
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under tight deadlines
  • Working knowledge of creative tools such as Photoshop, iMovie, Illustrator, or similar platforms is a plus
  • Passion for R&B and Hip Hop strongly preferred
  • Solid understanding of interactive technologies and fan engagement tools, including:
    • TikTok, Instagram, X, Facebook, Snapchat
    • Discord
    • Website strategy
    • Email/CRM strategy
    • SMS platforms
