The Global Marketing team occupies a central seat at WMG, driving direct-to-fan engagement, marketing enablement tooling, centralized services, and optimized media strategies that allow us to innovate at scale. Working in tandem, the Global Business Intelligence group ensures our organization understands, trusts, and acts on data by translating raw information into clear strategies and measurable actions. Your role:
WMG Global Marketing is seeking a highly organized, passionate, and detail-oriented Assistant to support the Global Marketing and Business Intelligence departments. In this role, you will serve as the administrative backbone for the New York team while also acting as a key liaison between the US headquarters and our global affiliates (UK, Europe, Asia, Latin America, etc.).
This is the perfect entry-level opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the global music business.
Here you'll get to:
  • Maintain heavy calendars for department heads, scheduling internal meetings and calls across multiple time zones.
  • Coordinate complex domestic and international travel itineraries for executives and visiting artists; prepare and process expense reports in a timely manner.
  • Create agendas, take notes during department meetings, and ensure conference rooms/video links are set up.
  • Maintain the department's contact database and mailing lists.
  • Help to coordinate onsite / offsite, town halls, and partner with other assistants across regions / offices as needed for events
  • Work with facilities on any office needs - e.g., workspace set up

About you:
  • 1+ years of administrative experience (music industry internships or agency experience highly preferred).
  • Proficient in Google Suite. Knowledge of music consumption platforms (Luminate, Chartmetric, Radiomonitor, Spotify for Artists) is a plus.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment and manage calls across different global time zones.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • The willingness to learn and strive for the very best.
