Job description

DarkStar Intelligence is seeking a highly qualified Multimedia Programmer Senior to provide expert support in the design, development, and implementation of advanced multimedia courseware and e-learning solutions. This position plays a critical role in enhancing the training and education capabilities of our clients through innovative multimedia applications.
Requirements
  • Lead the design and development of multimedia projects, including advanced distributed learning courseware, online content, video, audio, and interactive computer-based materials.
  • Develop synchronous and asynchronous distance learning products in compliance with SCORM and DoD Instruction 1322.26.
  • Collaborate with Instructional Systems Designers (ISDs) to create storyboards that effectively depict the flow of animation sequences.
  • Ensure the proper use of design templates, standards, and style sheets across all projects.
  • Conduct trials and evaluations of new design technologies and equipment to assess their applicability.
  • Utilize creativity and experience to develop complex animations and multimedia content.
  • Identify and troubleshoot design-related issues promptly and effectively.
  • Develop and implement IT solutions, including transaction management and database products.
  • Prototype IT solutions, including basic programming, data communications, networking, and IT security concepts.
  • Translate client requirements into effective IT and multimedia solutions.
  • Implement systems across multiple computing platforms.
  • Lead, plan, and manage web design projects for websites and graphic design activities.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance with Counterintelligence Polygraph.
  • A minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience without a degree, or a BA/BS degree in a related field with at least two (2) years of experience in multimedia within training programs.
  • Practical-level knowledge and expertise in multimedia processes, including designing, developing, and producing multimedia projects aligned with project objectives, format, methodology, target audience, content, budget, timelines, and available facilities/resources.
  • Proficiency in multimedia design software, learning content management systems (e.g., Blackboard), and a solid understanding of IT concepts, including security, networking, and database management.

Salary Range
$130,000 - $140,000 per year
