Job description

Aptive is seeking a Video/Multimedia Producer to design, develop, produce, and help distribute multimedia content using a variety of media, including video, audio, photography, and graphics. This role delivers engaging multimedia products that support outreach and communications objectives.

The Video/Multimedia Producer role requires a self-starter, proactive problem solver and action-oriented team player with previous experience in designing, producing, and distributing multimedia and video content. This position needs an individual that is committed to providing superior service, poised under pressure and has a positive and flexible attitude.

This is a contingent hire position. Offers will be contingent upon client approval, ability to meet security requirements, and the ability to adhere to any on-site requirements (which may change at contract award).

Remote work is anticipated. However, all candidates should be local to the Washington, DC metro area as on-site work may be required.


  • Design, develop, produce, and distribute multimedia content using video, audio, photography, and graphics.
  • Script, storyboard, shoot, and edit video and multimedia products.
  • Manage multimedia projects from concept through final delivery.
  • Ensure multimedia products meet creative, technical, and brand standards.
  • Incorporate stakeholder feedback to refine and finalize multimedia deliverables.

  • 3 ears of demonstrated experience designing, developing, producing, and distributing multimedia content using a variety of media, including video, audio, photography, and graphics.
  • Bachelors degree in related field.
  • Ability to provide a portfolio of samples.
  • Proficiency with professional video and multimedia production and editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance/DHS suitability determination.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

  • Strong critical thinking, analytical and time management skills.
  • Proven ability to organize, prioritize and work well with others.
  • Ability to communicate thoughts, ideas and solutions logically both written and orally.
