Python Automation Engineer/ Automotive Test Automation Engineer/ Automation Platform Developer

Location : Plano, TX (100% Onsite 5 Days/Week)

Duration : 12th + Months

Job Type : - Contract

We are seeking an automation platform developer to support the development, maintenance, troubleshooting for automation solution for automotive multimedia head units. This role will work closely with lead developer to implement code changes, provide technical support to tool users and ensure high quality automation software through testing, debugging and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

Support the lead developer with code writing, update & modifications.

Provide technical support to users for automation tools and platform

Perform quality assurance, troubleshooting and software development for automation solutions used in automotive multimedia head units.

Investigate issues, identify root causes and deliver timely resolutions

Collaborate with stakeholder to improve tools, workflows and overall productivity

Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of automation systems and related applications

Support continuous improvement initiatives across the automation workspace

Required Skills & Technologies:

5+ Yrs. in python programming(Expert)

Strong presence in Agile Methodology

Strong problem solving skills with the ability to identify root cause and solve issues in a timely manner

Proactive mindset with a focus on improving tools, process and work environment

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with relevant stakeholder

Preferred Skills:

Experience with FastAPI

Strong working experience in Linux environment

Experience with React/TypeScript Development

Experience with Hardware Control Scripting(I2C, GVIF, Serial)

Working experience with In-Car network protocols such as CAN, CAN FD, and Ethernet

Working experience in Cloud Development(Google Cloud Platform, AWS)

Prior knowledge of Automated Testing for automotive multimedia Systems

Added Skills:

  • Familiarity with automotive Software Development environments

Education:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Electronics or a related Field or equivalent practical Experience
