THE ROLE

The Executive & Digital Content Strategy Lead is responsible for defining and driving executive thought leadership strategy and digital content programming across YouTube and LinkedIn. The role will own narrative development, content strategy, and programming frameworks, partnering closely with cross-functional teams and Centers of Excellence (COEs) to execute high-impact content at scale. 

This is a strategic role with accountability for shaping executive voice, scaling content programs, and ensuring consistent, compelling storytelling aligned to business priorities. 

THE PERSON 

The ideal candidate is a strategic storyteller and content leader with experience building executive thought leadership programs and managing digital content ecosystems across social and video platforms. You are highly collaborative, organized, and comfortable working across executives, marketing teams, communications, creative partners, and agencies to drive alignment and execution. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Executive Thought Leadership Strategy & Narrative 

  • Define and evolve executive thought leadership strategy aligned to client priorities and key campaigns  
  • Develop core narratives, messaging frameworks, and editorial themes across executives and initiatives 
  • Partner with executives, communications, and business leaders to shape authentic, differentiated perspectives 
  • Translate business priorities into scalable thought leadership programs and content series 

YouTube Content Strategy & Programming 

  • Own Commercial PC YouTube channel strategy, including content pillars, audience targeting, and performance goals 
  • Develop and manage always-on content programming (e.g., series, episodic formats, campaign integrations) 
  • Partner with creative teams and COEs on concept development, production planning, and publishing cadence 
  • Ensure content aligns to broader campaign narratives and supports awareness, engagement, and conversion goals 
  • Drive performance optimization through insights, testing, and continuous improvement 

LinkedIn Strategy & Content Production 

  • Define and execute LinkedIn Commercial PC strategy across corporate channels and executive presence 
  • Build channel-specific content strategies, including editorial calendars and platform-native formats 
  • Guide content development for executive posts, articles, and campaign amplification 
  • Partner with social COEs for publishing, amplification, and performance tracking 
  • Scale best practices for executive voice, engagement, and follower growth 

Program Leadership & Cross-Functional Execution 

  • Lead end-to-end programming across thought leadership and content initiatives, from strategy through execution 
  • Manage commercial client programming calendar 
  • Partner with internal teams (campaigns, comms, web, social) and external agencies to deliver programs 
  • Act as the central point of coordination across stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely delivery 
  • Establish clear workflows, content pipelines, and production processes with execution teams 

Performance & Optimization 

  • Define success metrics across channels (engagement, reach, influence, conversion) 
  • Leverage data and insights to refine strategy, content mix, and programming effectiveness 
  • Deliver regular performance readouts and actionable recommendations to stakeholders 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE 

  • Extensive experience in content strategy, executive communications, social media, digital marketing, or thought leadership  
  • Experience managing executive presence and content strategy on LinkedIn and YouTube  
  • Strong understanding of digital storytelling, editorial strategy, and audience engagement best practices  
  • Experience working cross-functionally with communications, creative, social, and campaign teams  
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management skills  
  • Experience leveraging analytics and insights to optimize content performance  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills  
  • Experience working in a B2B or technology company environment, either client-side or agency-side preferred 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or related field
