Team Embrey is looking for a FIELD SUPERINTENDENT to support our Construction Management team.

As a FIELD SUPERINTENDENT, you will be responsible for the success, timeliness, and quality completion of the assigned construction projects by providing direction to subcontractors and vendors, coordinating the optimum utilization of resources, and supporting the Project Superintendent in the project life cycle for all on-site duties.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain strict adherence to the budgetary guidelines, quality, and safety standards.
  • Enforce compliance with all project procedures, safety program requirements, and work rules.
  • Retain a current working knowledge of the Certificate of Occupancy process in communities where performing work.
  • Ensure construction activities progress according to a pre-determined schedule.
  • Work directly with all subcontractors and vendors to ensure quality control, cost control, and adherence to the construction schedule.
  • Complete punch list items in a time frame consistent with the customer's requirements and the project budget.
  • Prepare subcontractor work schedules and provide input to the Project Superintendent in preparing and updating Project Construction schedules to ensure timely completion.
  • Ensure project site and company assets are secure and maintain a safe and respectful working environment by implementing safety (OSHA) and risk management standards.

Qualifications

  • 5 years’ experience as a multifamily or wood frame construction superintendent
  • Experience utilizing Timberline, Procore, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of building codes, risk management, and safety standards
  • HS Diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science/Management, Engineering, or related field, preferred
  • Valid Driver’s License

Required Testing

  • Criminal Background Check, Non DOT Testing, MVR
