Job description

Multi Unit Manager

Salary: $90,000

High-volume quick-service restaurants succeed on speed, hospitality, operational excellence, and strong leadership. As a Multi Unit Manager, you will oversee 4-7 restaurant locations, develop Restaurant General Managers, address performance gaps at the root cause, and drive guest satisfaction, employee engagement, and financial results. This is a hands-on leadership role where most of your time is spent in restaurants coaching, problem-solving, and setting operational standards.

Performance Objectives

  • Build a strong bench of Restaurant General Managers and Assistant Managers so every location has capable leadership coverage and internal promotion opportunities.
  • Improve guest satisfaction and speed of service by identifying root causes and implementing sustainable operational improvements.
  • Achieve sales, labor, food cost, and controllable expense targets through regular coaching and performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards by conducting routine visits and addressing gaps quickly.
  • Reduce employee turnover through effective coaching, recognition, accountability, and leadership development.
  • Develop and execute annual operating plans with restaurant leaders, prioritizing staffing, facility needs, and sales-building initiatives.
  • Spend approximately 80% of your time in the restaurants training managers, resolving operational challenges, and reinforcing best practices.

Environment & Resources

You will report to senior operations leadership and provide direction to Restaurant General Managers across a defined market. The role includes access to operational systems, capital planning resources, vendor partnerships, and leadership support. Success depends on maintaining a consistent presence in the restaurants and leading from the front.

Essential Qualifications

  • 4-6 years of restaurant or retail management experience, including multi-unit leadership preferred.
  • Proven ability to recruit, coach, and develop managers who achieve strong guest, people, and financial results.
  • Strong understanding of P&L management, including sales, labor, inventory, and controllable expenses.
  • Food safety certification, or the ability to obtain certification.
  • Excellent conflict resolution, planning, organizational, and follow-up skills.
  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience preferred.

Why Join Us?

  • Lead multiple restaurant locations with full responsibility for people, operations, and financial performance.
  • Make a visible impact on business results through coaching, leadership development, and operational excellence.
  • Competitive salary of $90,000 plus bonus potential and comprehensive benefits.
  • Opportunity for continued career growth into senior operations leadership roles.
  • Work with a collaborative, people-focused organization that values hands-on leadership and internal development.

If you have a passion for developing leaders, improving operations, and driving results across multiple locations, we'd love to hear from you.
