Job description

Position Title: Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician (Confidential Client)
Location: Graniteville, SC | Onsite
Employment Type: Permanent


Compensation
  • Salary: $33.00 - $43.00/hr
  • Sign-on Bonus: $7,500
  • Relocation: Available (regional)
  • Company Result Sharing Bonus paid weekly

Position Summary

Service Technicians must be extremely flexible to support a wide range of maintenance activities. Service Technicians become subject matter experts in a specific production department. When problems arise with manufacturing equipment, the Service Technician on shift will troubleshoot and repair the system as quickly as possible to maximize production up-time. Service Technicians on day shifts will group and perform periodic scheduled preventative maintenance and calibration on all manufacturing equipment. This facility operates on a 24/7 basis. Candidates will be assigned either day or rotating shifts, so candidates need to be open to both.

Must-Haves
  • Multi-craft experience in Electrical, Mechanical, and Electronics
  • PLC, hydraulic, and pneumatic knowledge
  • One of the following: Associates degree in Electronics, General Technology, Robotics or related field and at least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience; OR Completion of an apprenticeship program and at least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience; OR At least 5 years of industrial maintenance experience
Primary Functions
  • Be Safe - comply with all safety regulations
  • Partner with Engineering team to install, test, and release equipment
  • Record activities in a CMMS
  • Maintain equipment for industrial production, industrial processing, pipeline distribution systems, and conveyors
  • Troubleshoot and repair various PLCs
  • Work with Networking and Communications systems: EtherNet / IP, ControlNet, and DeviceNet
  • Troubleshoot AC Drives, Motors, Encoder and Resolver
  • Calibrate flow, level, pressure, and temperature devices and loops
  • Work with bearings, conveying systems, gearboxes, equipment rebuilds, and repairs
  • Work with automation and distributed control system architectures within manufacturing and processing systems
  • Maintain hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and rotating equipment
  • Read and use blueprints, schematics, manuals, technical drawings, work orders, test results, machine error messages
  • Inspect parts for damage and wear
  • Test and observe running machinery
  • Use hoists and lifts, grinders, hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, testing equipment
  • Perform other duties as assigned
