Job description

Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician (Electro-Mechanical) – Direct Hire
 Lebanon/Mason, OH Area
 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
 $35–$42/hour

Our client is seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician to support a growing manufacturing and contract packaging operation. This is a direct hire opportunity with a family-owned company known for its strong culture, employee investment, and commitment to innovation.

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues on production equipment
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance
  • Diagnose equipment failures and implement long-term corrective actions
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics
  • Work with PLCs, VFDs, motor controls, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Support equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects
  • Maintain maintenance records within a computerized maintenance system (CMMS)
  • Assist with facility maintenance as needed
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred
  • Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with PLCs, VFDs, motor controls, and power distribution systems
  • Ability to read electrical diagrams and schematics
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with gears, chains, belts, bearings, and conveyors
  • Experience performing root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology or related field
  • Manufacturing or Packaging industry experience
  • Welding, machining, or fabrication experience
  • Experience with compressed air, vacuum, or hydraulic systems
