Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician (A/B/C)

About Our Client

We are assisting our client, a well-established, growth-oriented manufacturing organization, in finding a skilled Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician. Our client operates across multiple business units and approximately 500,000 sq. ft. of production space. They serve customers across automotive, heavy trucking and other industries and are actively expanding through new program awards. Our client is known for a strong coaching culture, long-term employee development, and a genuine commitment to work-life balance.

Role Summary

We are looking for a skilled Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to support production operations across stamping, welding, and assembly processes. Candidates are evaluated and placed at the A, B, or C skill level based on demonstrated experience and performance on a standardized assessment. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your technical skills within a dynamic, expanding manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all safety rules, regulations, and standards at all times on the production floor.
  • Ensure all products are maintained and repaired to the highest standards of quality.
  • Collaborate with team members to maximize operational productivity and efficiency.
  • Support achievement of daily and weekly production goals through proactive maintenance.
  • Utilize PLC software to modify programs, perform adjustments, program drives, and program robots (level-dependent).
  • Manage complex PLC programming and project-based maintenance tasks.
  • Work with servo motors and communication protocols (switches, Ethernet) as required..
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area upon completing all assigned tasks.

    Qualifications & Requirements

  • Demonstrated proficiency in maintenance technician functions at various levels, verified by a standardized Multi-Craft assessment.
  • Experience with PLC software and the ability to write, modify, and troubleshoot programs.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and comprehending instructions and directions in English.
  • Willingness to consistently wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) on the production floor.
  • Flexibility to perform additional duties as assigned within the scope of the role.
