Job description

JOB TITLE: TSM Planner 


SUMMARY:  

The TSM Planner is responsible in assisting in the logistics and planning of crucial accounts.   

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Manage consignment inventory stocking programs and will be responsible for the performance of the business at the assigned location. 
  • Travel to customer locations to resolve any warehouse product issues as needed. 
  • The person will be responsible for the effective management of tactical requirements per our agreement with the customer. 
  • Manage inventory at customer location. (Management includes virtual cycle counting, replenishments, delivering, billing, and invoicing). 
  • Review and recommend stocking level increases/decreases. 
  • Proactively manage slow moving and inactive inventory. 
  • Facilitate meetings with customers as required develop new business opportunities. 
  • Work with customer engineering to develop new alternate sourcing opportunities for cost saving initiatives for customer. 
  • Assist accounting department with TSM reconciliation questions or concerns. 
  • Assist MSR-FSR Logistics department as needed. 
  • Responsible for maintaining SIMI database active and up to date. 
  • Compile all sites OTD reporting. 

Requirements

TSM Planner Job Requirements: 

  • 1-2 years of warehouse or shipping and receiving experience. 
  • High School Diploma or GED required. (Degree on a related field a plus) 
  • Must be at least 18 years of age. 
  • Strong communication skills. 
  • Must be available for On-call duties 24/7 Basis for on-site emergency issues. 
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel. 
  • Schedule flexibility and time management
