We're a growing Managed Services Provider (MSP) that specializes in supporting credit unions with their IT needs. Our mission? As our Chief Financial Officer, you'll be a trusted advisor to our executive leadership team, helping guide the financial direction of Pure IT Credit Union Services while ensuring we continue to grow responsibly and profitably.
What You'll Do:
  • Serve as a strategic business partner to the COO, executive leadership team, and Board of Directors, providing financial insight that drives business growth, profitability, and long-term strategic decision-making.
  • Lead all financial operations including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, tax, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit, and cash management.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate recording, reconciliation, and reporting of operational and financial results in accordance with U.S. GAAP and company policies
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve financial policies, accounting procedures, internal controls, and compliance programs to safeguard company assets and reduce financial risk.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process, long-range financial planning, forecasting, and capital planning in collaboration with executive leadership.
  • Provide executive-level financial reporting, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) that support data-driven business decisions.
  • Develop and monitor financial metrics including revenue growth, EBITDA, gross margin, operating margin, cash flow, utilization, customer profitability, recurring revenue (MRR/ARR), and business unit performance.
  • Ensure sufficient cash flow and working capital to support operational and strategic business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve profitability, reduce costs, streamline operations, and increase organizational efficiency through financial analysis and process improvements
  • Partner with leadership team to evaluate pricing strategies, service profitability, labor utilization, and customer contract performance.
  • Develop financial models to support new business initiatives, product offerings, acquisitions, and strategic investments.
  • Research market trends, economic conditions, and industry benchmarks to identify growth opportunities and mitigate financial risks.
  • Perform enterprise risk management by evaluating financial exposures, liabilities, investments, insurance coverage, and capital structure.
  • Lead financial due diligence, valuation analysis, integration planning, and post-acquisition reporting for mergers and acquisitions.
  • Build and maintain executive dashboards that provide real-time visibility into company performance and profitability by department, business unit, client, and service offering.
  • Develop workforce planning and financial staffing models to support organizational growth, hiring decisions, and resource optimization.
  • Oversee collections strategies and accounts receivable performance to maintain healthy cash flow and minimize aging receivables.
  • Present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance reports, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and the Board of Directors.
  • Lead the annual financial audit and maintain strong relationships with external auditors, banking partners, insurance providers, tax advisors, and other financial institutions.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local financial reporting requirements, tax regulations, and applicable accounting standards.
  • Drive financial system improvements, automation initiatives, and reporting enhancements that improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement by leading, mentoring, and developing the accounting and finance team.
  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships across the organization to ensure financial objectives align with operational goals.
  • Perform other executive leadership responsibilities as assigned in support of the company's strategic objectives.
What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • CPA and/or MBA strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience, including senior executive leadership.
  • Previous experience as a CFO, VP of Finance, or Corporate Controller preferred.
  • Experience working within a Managed Service Provider (MSP), IT services, technology services, SaaS, or recurring revenue business model strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of recurring revenue accounting, service profitability, project accounting, and subscription-based financial models.
  • Experience leading mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, business integrations, and financial modeling.
  • Proven experience building financial dashboards, KPIs, forecasting models, and executive reporting.
  • Advanced knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and executive presentation skills.
  • Experience working with private equity-backed organizations is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • High level of integrity and sound business judgment.
