This position is located at Defense Logistics Agency Columbus in Whitehall, Ohio.

Help
  • Responsible for overall operations of sales store. Makes available to patrons all resale merchandise in store.
  • Prices all merchandise. Monitors stock levels. Orders, receives merchandise, and prepares documents.
  • Provides assistance to patrons in selection of goods. Receives payment, records sales on cash register and makes change, and issues receipts.
  • Individual maintains brochures, price listings and related information for customer use.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one-year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.

Qualifications

A qualified candidate must possess the following:
  • Experience in inventory control, retail sales and cash register operations.
  • Working knowledge of sales inventory is desirable.

In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified":
  • Prior experience working in a travel/tour office.
  • Prior experience working for MWR or similar agency.
  • Prior experience utilizing RecTrac.
