MidSouth Pain Treatment Center (MPTC), a PartnerCare affiliated company, is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our growing, well-established practice in Cordova, Tennessee.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to develop safe, balanced, and patient-focused pain management treatment plans
  • Perform comprehensive and problem-focused patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations
  • Work with physicians to diagnose and order appropriate minimally-invasive procedures to address the root cause of patients’ pain, offering alternatives to debilitating surgery or reliance on medications
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and laboratory results
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and complete electronic health records documenting patient care and treatment outcomes
  • Initiate referrals and consultations when patient needs exceed scope of practice or expertise
  • Educate and counsel patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, medications, and health promotion
  • Counsel patients on medication regimens, potential side effects, and interactions with supplements and over-the-counter medications
  • Review patient documentation to evaluate the effectiveness and quality of care provided

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • Current AANP or NCCPA certification (as applicable)
  • Active and unrestricted Tennessee license (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills
  • Passion for patient-centered care and collaborative practice
