Job Summary:
The Leasing & Resident Services Coordinator is responsible for providing exceptional support and services to residents within a residential community. This role combines customer service, administrative duties, and leasing responsibilities to ensure a positive living experience for current and prospective tenants. The coordinator will work closely with residents, property management, and service teams to create a welcoming environment and address the day-to-day needs of the property. They will assist in organizing resident events, maintaining positive relationships, and providing resources to promote resident engagement and well-being.
Responsibilities:
Executing leasing activities: Contacting/following up with leads, recording leasing traffic and prospect communication; scheduling appointments, touring, and leasing apartments; processing/completing applications and files, organizing resident move-in and preparing the apartment, working with brokers.
Building, maintaining, and improving resident relations: communicating with residents, investigating and resolving resident complaints, assisting with resident requests, enforcing building policies and procedures, organizing and hosting resident events and appreciation activities.
Assisting with marketing activities: completing competitive market analysis, completing local outreach, marketing, and advertising, posting on social media, enhancing brand and property image.
Inspecting Property: daily walks of priority areas, leasing tour path, hallways, stairways, exterior and models; weekly walks of vacant units; assisting with scheduling routine and preventative maintenance.
Administrative tasks: assisting with delinquency, assisting with resident ledgers, filing, delivering resident notices, entering and tracking work orders; scheduling elevator and amenity reservations.
Always providing superior customer service to prospects, residents, and guests
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
· Previous experience in leasing, sales, or customer service preferred.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.
Additional Requirements:
· Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.
· Real estate leasing license or willingness to obtain one (depending on local regulations).
· Knowledge of fair housing laws and regulations.
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs; lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
· Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions when conducting property tours.
