What is motorcycle insurance and why do I need it?

Motorcycle insurance is a type of coverage that provides financial protection in case of accidents, theft, or damage involving your motorcycle. It typically covers liability for injuries or property damage you cause to others, as well as optional coverage for your own bike and medical expenses. Most states require at least basic liability coverage to legally ride on public roads. Having motorcycle insurance can help you avoid significant out-of-pocket costs and meet legal requirements. It also offers peace of mind knowing you're protected if an unexpected event occurs.

What are the typical responsibilities of a motorcycle insurance agent on a daily basis?

A motorcycle insurance agent's typical day involves assisting clients with selecting appropriate coverage, explaining policy features, and processing new applications or renewals. They also handle claims inquiries, provide quotes, and ensure all documentation is accurately completed. Additionally, agents often collaborate with underwriters and claims adjusters to resolve complex cases and maintain up-to-date knowledge of state regulations and insurance products.
