Job description

About Mosaic
Mosaic is the AI-driven deal modeling platform for private markets, used by leading investors and advisors including Warburg Pincus, CVC, New Mountain, and Evercore. Mosaic automates and standardizes core deal analyses-such as LBOs and DCFs-so investment teams can move faster, reduce spreadsheet risk, and spend more time on investment judgment.
Mosaic's platform combines deterministic, rules-based calculations with AI-powered ingestion and agentic workflows to generate replicable, audit-ready outputs that private equity, private credit, and investment banking teams can trust across billion-dollar deals.
Mosaic is on a mission to build the AI-driven operating system for the world's most sophisticated investors and their advisors. We're growing quickly and are hiring across engineering, product, customer enablement, and go-to-market teams.
For those excited to sit at the intersection of high finance and technology, Mosaic offers a rare opportunity to shape how the industry operates for decades to come.

About the Role
As part of the Banking & Credit GTM team, you'll help scale Mosaic's newest and fastest-growing segments: investment banking and private credit.
This role sits at the center of Mosaic's growth. You'll own client relationships end-to-end, building trust with some of the world's most sophisticated financial minds, guiding firms through adoption, and uncovering opportunities to expand Mosaic across client organizations. You'll engage directly with senior bankers and investors, using your finance background to map Mosaic into real-world underwriting workflows and legacy Excel models.
Beyond commercial execution, you'll play a meaningful role in shaping Mosaic's product roadmap. By working closely with product and engineering, you'll translate frontline customer insight into new features, developing a highly sought-after product mindset along the way.
This role blends relationship-building, strategic thinking, and deep product fluency. It's ideal for someone who loves staying close to the deal process but wants to help build the technology redefining how those deals get done.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own Revenue End-to-End: Drive the full sales cycle from outbound prospecting through close with accountability for new business growth.
  • Expand & Retain Accounts: Lead post-sale rollouts to ensure successful deployment, exceptional customer experience, and ownership of expansion and renewal motions.
  • Commercial & Strategic Negotiation: Represent Mosaic in high-stakes commercial and strategic conversations with C-Suite Executives, Partners, Managing Directors, and entire deal teams.
  • Serve as a Trusted Strategic Advisor: Partner directly with senior deal professionals to diagnose workflow pain points and architect Mosaic solutions that materially improve decision-making leverage, execution speed and accuracy, and talent development and retention.
  • Manage a Strategic Portfolio: Build and maintain deep relationships across a portfolio of leading private equity, private credit, and investment banking clients.
  • Influence the Product Roadmap: Collaborate cross-functionally with product and engineering to translate customer feedback into clear, high-impact feature requirements.

Who We're Looking For
  • Relevant Finance Background: 2-4+ years of experience in private equity, private credit, or investment banking.
  • Modeling & Valuation Fluency: Strong command of financial modeling and valuation concepts, with the ability to speak credibly with deal professionals.
  • Executive-Level Communicator: Exceptional communicator with the ability to build trust and influence stakeholders across all seniority levels.
  • Builder Mentality: Highly ambitious self-starter excited to be an early GTM hire at a fast-growing startup and thrive in unstructured environments.
  • Strategic & Analytical Thinker: Able to synthesize customer feedback into actionable product and go-to-market insights.
  • Multi-Faceted Contributor: Comfort operating at the intersection of revenue, product, and customer success.
  • Team-Oriented Operator: Comfortable excelling as both an individual contributor and a collaborative team member.

Why Join Mosaic?
  • Be at the forefront of revolutionizing deal analysis and modeling for private equity, private credit, and investment banking.
  • Play a key role in shaping Mosaic's product roadmap and influencing its growth.
  • Collaborate with a team of top-tier professionals in finance and technology.
  • Enjoy opportunities for career growth and leadership in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Make a tangible impact by helping customers succeed and drive innovation in the industry.

What's in it for you?
This is a full-time position with:
  • A competitive base salary;
  • An attractive, uncapped variable cash compensation component designed to reward you for your personal successes; and
  • An early-stage start-up equity package designed to create life-changing wealth when we win as a team.

Other Perks & Benefits:
  • Health, vision & dental coverage
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Unforgettable team building events, offsites, and happy hours (Feel free to ask about it during the interview )

If you find yourself waking up every day seeking:
  • To be challenged by your peers
  • To grow your skillset in building technology businesses
