Job description

Any traveler not currently in possession of an active State of HI license must apply upon acceptance of offer. Candidate must have Hawaii License by start of assignment. General Job duties/ Types of procedures required. - Care for laboring mom, assist with delivery, and immediate care of newborn and post-delivery care for mom. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept.- Computerized system-Meditech. Fetal monitoring system - GE/Centricity Required skills and minimum years of experience. - Labor and delivery skills with a minimum of 3 years. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. - BLS & NRP (REQUIRED) STABLE & Advance FM (RECOMMENDED) Shift or schedule requirements- Variable - Day and Night shifts possible - 12 Hour shifts (36 hours weekly) following the first week of orientation. Scheduled 12 hours call at least once/month. No guarantee of hours or shift preference. Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.- L&D 8 Labor Beds; Postpartum 18 Beds
Shift: Variable - Day and Night shifts possible - 12 Hour shifts (36 hours weekly) following the first week of orientation. Scheduled 12 hours call at least once/month. No guarantee of hours or shift preference.
