Job description

The Materials Support Representative is responsible for an in depth understanding of multiple roles and filling in and supporting said roles as assigned by supervision. The main roles include Pallet Wrapper, Kitchen Runner, Decanting and Warehouse Associate. This team member will be expected to do all these roles efficiently and accurately. Subject to mandatory overtime as needed. The hours are 8am to 6:30pm.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to
  • Fill in and/or Assist the Kitchen Runner including understanding of Pick Lists and Kitchen paperwork and utilizing the barcode scanner to accurately scan items to and from inventory locations in AX
  • Fill in and/or Assist the Pallet Wrapper including completing paperwork accurately; recording production, batch numbers, etc. and utilizing barcode scanner to accurately report and transfer meals in AX
  • Fill in and/or Assist the Decanting positions; pull product from freezers; utilize barcode scanner to scan items from inventory into consumption
  • Fill in and/or Assist the Dock Team to include: operate forklifts, electric pallet jacks and manual pallet jacks, load & unload trucks, properly complete shipping and receiving documents and utilize barcode scanner to move product within the AX
  • Assist in cycle counting, audits, training when necessary
  • Other duties assigned by supervisor
  • Follow all company GMP and safety policies
Required Skills and Experience
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Exemplary attendance
  • Demonstrated ability to learn, adapt and take direction
  • Strong initiative to take ownership of specific tasks
  • Solid multi-tasking and organizational skills to be able to handle various tasks from day to day
  • Ability to perform basic math
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work with others
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in warehouse or production environment
  • Forklift and electric pallet jack experience
  • Prior inventory experience
  • AX software knowledge a plus
  • Experience in food production or food industry
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Physical Requirements
  • Regularly required to use hands to feel, grab, or operate objects, tools, and controls while reaching with hands and arms
  • Frequently required to stand, communicate, and listen
  • Occasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel or crouch
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Visual perception to perform job including peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
  • Able to perform repetitive movements
  • Able to work in variable temperatures (cold/hot)
