Job description

Mom & Pops is a well-established quick-service grill and convenience store. A longtime local favorite, the store is known for its made-to-order meals, friendly service, and consistent quality. Mom & Pops upholds a strong commitment to community, reliability, and customer care.
We're seeking a hands-on Manager to oversee all aspects of store operations, drive performance, and lead a team-oriented, customer-first environment. This is a full-time, working manager position.
Duties and Responsibilities Include but Not Limited To:
  • Oversee daily operations.
  • Create and manage employee schedules
  • Hire, train, and evaluate staff.
  • Monitor and control food, labor, and operating costs.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Manage vendor relationships and inventory, including regular cycle counts.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide development plans.
  • Foster a motivated, accountable, and customer-focused environment.
  • Perform all other duties assigned.

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of upper management experience, preferably in food service, convenience stores, or retail operations.
  • ServSafe certification (required).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of food safety and store operations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and basic financial reporting.
  • Work full-time hours and overtime as needed.
  • Full availability is required, including early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.
